The dedicated site for my wildfire map — full viewport, no surrounding chrome, meant to live in a tab during fire season. Pan and zoom across NASA heat-signature data updated a couple of times a day, switch to satellite imagery, measure distance and area on the ground, and copy a link that restores the exact view so you can bookmark it or send someone straight to the fire you're watching.

Inspired by the Tubbs/Sonoma Complex Fires of 2017, this interactive map of heat signatures enables one to easily see where wildfires are, monitor their progress and measure their size and distance from you or those you care about. The data comes from NASA and is updated a couple times a day.
